i feel it worked again yesterday but it still got problem like before. i made one video and it never complete and i was waiting so long for it about 5h but it hasn’t done

Yes, yesterday I think Ihad 25 or more subtitles generated, but over the last 12 hours I have had zero, with only 4 failures registered but over that full 12 hours span. I guess if we see no progress being made in over an hour we should just shut it down? Can we save our queues?

tim1885009 best bet is that this is broken again and wait till they wake up in China so that they can work on fixing it again, they should start to have at least a backup cloud in the US so that the wait time is better and when one fails at least we are not 100% dark

I tried again at about 7pm (EDT) yesterday (June 12) and it worked fine at that time. I had roughly 15 films that needed subtitles. All were about 45 minutes long and were being translated from the original Spanish language into English subtitles. That took about 5 hours or about 20 minutes per film.

Just downloaded the new release, interesting changes.
However, now how can we specify different subtitle language for each files? Some of us, want to have French srt for one movie and english one for the next movie, and spanish one for the next one, etc…
With the new version, seems like we can not do this here….
Can you please fix that?

I also need to congratulate the team of implementing my request on detecting the language and setting the subtitle language accordingly
But please now, do it on a per video basis not as a macro.

Having used the program, I am generally pleased with the quality and speed. (That is of course when it is working properly!!) Here are some thoughts about possible improvements.

Maintain the films in the queue when the product is shut down or at least give an option to restore them automatically when re-opening.
If some films are started and you want to add another film or two, you can do that, but those new films do not automatically start when the prior films are finished. Instead, you need to wait until all prior films in the queue are completed and then return to the program to “start” those. Can that be changed?
It would be nice to be able to choose what order to process the films. At this point you just push the start button, and the films are processed from top to bottom. Essentially it would be good to have the ability to pick the specific films to process while leaving others that are in the queue for later.
How does the program handle films with multiple soundtracks? Will the program provide subtitles for all tracks, only the first one, or can that be chosen?

k-astern639636 indeed, I already asked for these improvements as well as a separate job queue aka what handbrake does so that you can manage the job queue independently of the main window….

k-astern639636 You can change the order of items in the queue by clicking and dragging on the details part of any item’s rectangle to move it up or down the queue and insert it where you “drop” it. It’s a little clunky and slow, but it can be done even with the queue running. “Ready to Start” items will be skipped, however.
