Hello, Julio,
Currently some UniFab functions are processed on our cloud servers, such as Colorizer, AI Subtitle, and the Video Translator AI, which is in beta. However, we have found that with the increase in user numbers, server resources are insufficient, leading to user queues, processing instability, and a deteriorating user experience. Therefore, we have had to add more servers to our cloud server. In addition to increased R&D costs, server costs have also increased significantly.
Therefore, we launched the FabCloud Credits system (Learn More). FabCloud Credits can be used for UniFab’s web cloud service functions, client-side cloud service processing, and subsequent FabCloud-related functions in DvdFab, StreamFab, MusicFab, and BookFab.
But don’t worry, we’ve added plenty of Credits for all users who previously purchased the client. If you don’t have enough Credits, you can purchase more at a lower price.
Also, the Colorizer V1 can always be processed locally without consuming Credits.
In the future, considering that many users’ devices cannot run complex AI models, we will introduce more features in the cloud service version. You can choose either the local version or the cloud service version based on your needs.
