In some movies the main language is English for example, but sometimes you have scenes left in the native language for a very good reason (for example Chinese in a Jackie Chan movie), in this case, we want to keep these scenes in the native language in order not to destroy the flow of the movie…. This case needs to be thought through and an option need to be there to give the option of what to do.
If not, then translator might just ruin the movie, the best example I can thing is a movie called The longest day 1962 which has at least 4 spoken languages and trust me you do not want to mess this one up….

As a wish, It could be interesting if the output language could be selected in function the listener origins. With this I mean that if the translation is from English into Spanish, having the possibility of choosing between South American Spanish or Spanish from Spain or from french or other languages into British English or american english, etc…
Although the languae is basicaly the same but there are differences in idiomatic expressions and accents.

Also, since the audio will be analyzed at the time, there should be an option to generate the associated srt files for each audio tracks as part of the overall process, this is really a must at this point so that you do not have to reprocess the audio again which as we all know is the longest processing task in generating the srt….

vivi And if you want this movie to check, will be happy to upload it to the ftp… The solution could be simple as a toggle switch to say if other languages as the primary do not translate…

Alex_Videoman Thank you for your offer. This feature has not been developed yet. It is a direction that needs to be considered in future upgrade plans.

Ctrl+Y nice that we can test it now, but the 5min restriction makes it almost impossible to test to be honest, it is too cumbersome for us to make sure it is less than 5min and most of the movies or TV shows, or anime are more than 5min anyway, you can not ask us to crop these before testing….
I would encourage you either to remove the 5min threshold or to just do the first 5min of whatever we input…
I would prefer the first one to be honest as it would really test the application fully….
Also do you cover the use case that I mentioned before?

I checked and I have zero video less than 5min out of my 6,000 in my library, so will be happy to test intensively for you like I did with subtitles, but will not be cropping to do so…
Please remove the limit and it will then be tested, and you know very well that I will be giving a lot of feedback as not shy

First observation, can you please put the default to create srt and not remux into file for subtitle?
Second observation, can you please allow us to select more than one target language? I have been asking this with subtitle since we started working on the beta, so please add it this time. You have all the data available once the audio has been analyzed, so why wouldn’t allow for this instead of starting the whole process again?

Last comment, related to one of my open bug, would be a better experience if the app was not crashing as soon as you try to add a movie from a NAS or usb drive…
