So… after testing a few things with this latest release, the non-cloud Video Enhancer AI seems to have some issues with the AI model deployments via the CUDA/NVIDIA utilization and assigning the speed at a ridiculous low fps (plus, don’t convert between say an avi to mp4- you need to stick with converter for that function).
However, it looks like RTX Rapid Video Enhancer is handling everything (somewhat better, funny enough), at about 40-50% of the GPU use and it looks like it might be auto assigning the AI model based on what’s being enhanced. Based on the tests I’ve done so far, what I think is CUDA has been reallocated over to the RTX Rapid version. Given I’ve seen my GPU get as high as 98% on the standard VE AI and now it’s below 10%, we’re dealing with a calibration issue from the software on that particular function.
I have yet to test the other functions (such as color, audio, face and such), but on the enhancement issue, the best best with this present version is use the RTX Rapid Enhancer over the regular one (as it appears to be handling film and television using Titanus). There’s bugs in the present version, but it’s workable.
