Unifab 4.2.3.0 opens correctly, then crashes immediately after starting to load mkv or mp4 videos regardless of module and regardless of video selected. No error message. The videos have been processed in VideoProc AI DVD module (tried both mp4 and mkv), deinterlaced and loaded without problem in earlier versions of Unifab. Have reinstalled Unifab after removing all traces of prior installation and problem persists. System is Lenovo Legion Pro 7 Gen 10 with 64GB RAM and nVidia RTX 5070Ti, 12GB vRAM, latest version of nVidia Studio Driver. Also running Lenovo Legion Toolkit set to discrete GPU, Windows 11 Defender, Malware Bytes AV, and Fortect. Prior version of Unifab had no problem; the only thing new here (other than the version of Unifab) is Lenovo Legion Toolkit and new CPU/GPU - which seem to be working fine on other apps. Based on Unifab log, AI says the official installer packaged a malformed, empty default configuration file (ProfileInfo.json), but in Win Explorer the file size is 90KB. Have submitted a ticket, and wondering if anyone has a similar problem or suggestions. I could always reinstall an older version but that’s a pain and looking for other ideas first. Thanks!
