Most blu-ray movies are factory encoded with H264 video codec. Every once in a while I come across one that uses the “V_MS/VFW/FOURCC” codec (aka VC-1). Every time I pass them through the Upscaler, the video turns out choppy (like it is only grabbing every other frame instead of every frame) making the video useless.
Has anyone else come across this and if so, how did you fix it, if at all?
