problems with new update v4.2.0 conversion from sdr to dolby has stopped working or showing any movment

since the update v4.2.00
it no longer shows the progress when converting a file from sdr to dolby using autopilot it is working but theres no timer or progress but just completes around 20 mins later

and when using the hdr upconverter ai to change to dolby it just goes straight up and sits at 60% and dosnt move even though it must be doing something with cpu 13% memory 1,200mb gpu 3 but thats it no folder appears or file this happens in 4.2.0

no matter what file i try if downgrade to 4.1.9.0 it starts working again

problem has still not been fixed v4.2.2 bar will not show progress it works if downgrade to v4.1.9 but anything 4.2 is stops working as pictured above it shows cpu and its progressing somthing but it never goes past or moves from 60.00%

Everything I’ve tried after version 4.1.8 either crashes or doesn’t load at all.

I’m having a similar issue with ver. 4.2.4.0. For at least the past year, I’ve used ver. 3.0.7.0. because its the most stable version & best for manual manipulation. I finally decided to give the newest version a try and I’m not impressed. I used the latest Video Upscaler AI to convert a 50 min 1080p file (3.25 GB) to 2160p file (7.85 GB) with a 6 ch 640 kb/s DD+ soundtrack. I then ran it thru the HDR Converter AI module using the 4K UHD model to add HDR 10 using the DCP13/standard HDR mode. It predicted a file size of 9.85 GB.

The conversion took about 2 hours and ran my GPU (RTX 5070 Ti) at nearly 100% using 6.8 GB of VVR , the resulting file was 2.3 GB in size and the audio soundtrack reduced to a basic 6 ch 48 hz AAC-LC codec with the center channel audio remixed to the front right channel. The audio soundtrack mix is totally messed up and ruined the video.

I also ran another upscaled 4K video file thru the HDR Converter AI and got the same result with a completely messed up AAC-LC audio soundtrack but this conversion only took 54 mins but still ran my GPU at almost 100%, which is unacceptable to me. This card cost me a lot of money & I can’t replace it due to NVidia pausing production of it. I also fear I could damage my AMD board with the extreme heat created by running my GPU so hard.

While the predicted sizes are a vast improvement over ver. 3.0.7.0. at least that version didn’t convert my audio soundtracks to AAC and messed up the soundmix. I paid for the HDR Converter AI rather than use your cloud services and I’ve not had any issues other than much larger than expect file sizes (almost doubling of file size) but the Compressor AI works fine to correct that.

I’ll be downgrading my Unifab back to ver 3.0.7.0. until you can fix this problem. The video Upscaler AI worked fine and actually ran faster than ver 3.0.7.0. however, my GPU was pushed into the 90% range and that bothered me. Please fix these issues & I might consider trying the newer version again but not if it continues to max out my GPU when older versions are no where near pushing my RTX 5070 Ti to its limits like this version does. Something isn’t right.
