Seems if I leave the HDR processing in the back round and do other work on the PC using Lightroom and Affinity Pro Photo it interferes with Unifab performance to where FPS drops to the 1.94 mentioned in previous message and completion to over 20 hours. I cancelled the operation and tried EncodeGUI (which is free) and setup HDR with the same input and the same thing happens. Performance degrades if I work in Lightroom and Affinity.
I cancelled the EncodeGUI process and started from scratch closing Lightroom and Affinity and letting EncodeGUI run the process with no other back round usage on the PC.
So, here’s a point I’m trying to make, If I start Unifab HDR with the same input (and running no other software on the PC) FPS and completion time with EncodeGUI is about half Unifab at 7.2 FPS and about 6.5 hours to completion.
I own Topaz Video Ai but their Hyperion results are terrible. For this reason I was hoping Unifab HDR would be better. For absolute best results HDR-X Studio is the way to go but the license/pricing structure is geared more towards professionals.
