Defect #1: Rad (1986) 720p video in autopilot. upmix, denoise, upscale, HDR. The input is mkv. The output requested is mp4 h265. The final final is still 720p.
RTX modules cannot be added to autopilot. executing them in sequence introduces audio delay defects into the final files, after multiple encodings to take advantage of multiple modules.
Lack of clarity on leaving the video alone where necessary. Since the batch commands are still disorganized, it is unclear as to whether or not the video is going to undergo degradation over multiple encoding passes. Ideally, we would like to be able to issue multiple commands at once - the system should be able to denoise, upscale, hdr the content in one pass and then provide the re-encoding in just one pass to minimize distortion. Also, if audio is the only thing to be touched, there should be an option to leave the video alone. That should be a feature of batch processing in upmix module.
Autopilot currently does not have batch processing. So if it’s a repetitive process over many videos, the user must manipulate each file and wait instead of setting their computer on a batch process and letting it run.
