Added files need manual start (once current encode has completed)

I can add new files to Upscaler AI when it is already encoding files (Processing window has buttons ‘Pause’ & ‘Cancel’), but the added files show status as ‘Ready to Start’. I have to wait for the existing files to complete before the ‘Start’ button reappears.

Can / should added files start encoding automatically once they are ‘next in the queue’?

You can add multiple video files at once, and they will be added to the task list for processing.
However, please note:
Processing is currently sequential (queue mode), not concurrent.
If you add new tasks during processing, you must manually click “Start” after the current task is complete to continue.

First post here, so not sure if your icon means you are ‘staff’? If you are, could a concurrent behaviour please be submitted as a product improvement suggestion? Thanks

Thank you. Another suggestion for improvement for the Upscaler AI is to (if possible) implement a user choice of bitrate alongside the present Standard Video Quality / High Video Quality option. I mention this because for me, a video bitrate of around 5.5 Mbps is an acceptable trade-off between quality and file size, but even using only Standard produces bitrates of 6.5 Mbps or 13 Mbps (from a recent sample of five Upscaled files; 2× 25 fps and 3× 50 fps). I then have to use Handbrake on the larger files to reduce their bitrate and therefore their final file size.

I have found that Upscaling a 50 fps source creates a file with twice the bitrate of a 25 fps source - is that what I should expect the Upscaler to do, or should it create files of similar size & bitrate irrespective of source frame rate? I have searched in the Community but did not find an answer.
