It’s now Apr 17th and I think there have been more than one “next release,” and I am unable to perform ANY upscaling because of this problem. This is happening in v 2.0.3.7 and in v 3.0.1.3. I decided NOT to be impatient and started an encode this morning at 8 AM, and just now looked at it at 5 PM, and it is still on the same movie with the same, “download runtime environments” message. NOTHING has happened at all, in NINE hours. Will this be fixed? EVER?
ETA: I left this post an hour or more ago, and at the same time tried to close the non-working Unifab v3.0.1.3. The message, “Cancelling the current operation, please wait…” is STILL on the screen and I haven’t been able to do anything but Windows Task Manager out of this program. I guess I’ll try reinstalling it, but I’m not hopeful. There seems to be too much STUFF going on in the program to make it useable in all cases.
