Very confusing audio codec support

Could we have the same codec support across all the different applications please?
For example, with compressor, we have TrueHD but this is not in converter, and there are other codecs which do not match, could we please have the same selection in all the applications which deal with audio tracks.
Also, it would be good to be able to select other codec with audio upmix, for example, DTS-MA/TrueHD when upmixing to 5.1 from stereo in addition to ea3, and same when upmixing to 7.1 where one might want TrueHD/eac3 or others…
Right now there is no coherence between all these, can we please fix it?

Thank you, it is important as if you use TrueHD for example, then when you want to use converter to change something then you can not, so these restrictions screw up completely your workflow
