Subtitle very slow vs usual speed

Anybody else encounter the slow down since about 11am PST this morning, it takes twice as long vs usual speed … It does not fail which is good but way too slow right now

To be crisp, the slowdown I am seeing is mainly in the sub generation phase, rest is quite fine…

What happens when you run out of credits for subtitle generation i purchased a standalone subtitle generator will it still work after my credits run out like it did prior to this Dec update?

No, it doesn’t work. I’m supposed to use credits.
The speed issue may also have something to do with credits. People are supposed to buy and use credits.
Only UniFab can control it, no credits slow, credits fast. The company made a bad move there!

I bought a lifetime license and now I have to pay to use it!
It’s unacceptable to change the rules in such an authoritarian way (justifying it as a technical improvement).
I understand that it may be interesting for new customers (and even then!), but for those who bought the lifetime license…no!!!
This is becoming a scam!
If I don’t get a refund, I will file a complaint!

The sub-generator and Colorize only work with credits.
Everything else still works at the moment.

This is extremely slow this afternoon, it has been more than 6 hours and I still do not have an srt file, it is basically useable again at this point, hopefully I will get my credits back here, just not acceptable

Same. I am in the #1 slot and I have the status of “Analyzing audio”, but it’s been like this for hours. I literally went out to dinner at a Christmas party and the status never changed. This has to get fixed if people are going to be charged for this (I say this as someone who bought before the 12/4 deadline).

Indeed, I just canceled it after 10h, Unifab wants to charge people for a solution which does down or is so slow every other week and it is never monitored so that it does not happen again and again, there is a need for live monitoring here 24by7 and not only when China is working, which means now we are out for the whole weekend without a working solution, not acceptable…

Agreed. This still feels very much like a beta and there should be mitigation efforts in place, such as either allowing local processing (I have a 5090, so I feel like it would be reasonably decent even with a heavy load) after a certain amount of time or some kind of failsafe to prevent what is no doubt a significant queue at this point.

ok generating again, but still abnormally slow for the srt generation itself, at least 4x slower than a few months ago
