I’d been wanting this rapid processing feature for some time. while its results may not be quite as impressive as Video Upscaler’s, it still deliver some noticeable improvement. i tried a very old and damaged video to testeffect, image below shows my processed version on the left, with RTX Upscaler’s output on the right – i can see the picture is cleaner. it’s remarkably fast , hope more rapid series products will be released

First, I already submitted a ticket on this, but when I bought the LIFETIME All In One package, I did not expect to be charged for any additional items, yet you want me to pay at least $90 US for another “Lifetime” All In One package, while I already own 13 of the 14 items. You and I have different notions of the word “ALL.”

Second, I used the trial version of this RTX Rapid Upscaler AI, with my RTX 5050 card. It upscaled my 720p to 1080p MP4s very quickly, over 300FPS. It’s just too bad that the new video was black, so I suppose I can save my $90.

The effect is quite noticeable in this image, though admittedly less so in the others. I agree with you, sismotik. I wonder if it’s because the two images aren’t from the same frame. I handle some anime myself. Below is a comparison. It’s tricky to capture the exact same frame in screenshots, but I can tell from the outlines and subtitles in the video that it is indeed slightly clearer. However, I’d really like you folks at unifab to enhance this enlargement effect further. Without any discount, I genuinely feel this product is a bit pricey!

This is a video I processed myself. While the results aren’t particularly noticeable, the film’s picture quality has indeed improved slightly, making for a better viewing experience. Its only merit is the processing speed; I do hope you’ll enhance the results further!!!

I agree with sismotik2182737 it just seems like a cash grab. It’s what the original Upscaler was supposed to be instead you tried to separate the 2 not very ethical. You guys are nickel and diming your your way out of a good thing.

I’m writing to report a critical issue encountered with the new RTX 5000-compatible upscaler. Although I was hesitant about the additional purchase of the “RTX Rapid Upscaler AI,” I support the team’s effort to provide the first upscaling solution for the RTX 5000 series.

The Issue: When I use the “RTX Rapid Upscaler AI” followed by “Smooth AI” (120fps interpolation), the resulting video is severely choppy and looks worse than the original source.

My Test Results (RTX 5060)
1 RTX Rapid Upscaler AI + Smooth AI: SEVERE CHOPPINESS. (e.g., 24fps source→120fps output)
2 Smooth AI (Standalone): Perfectly smooth. The frame interpolation function is working correctly on my hardware
3 Legacy/Standard Upscaler + Smooth AI: Perfectly smooth.

This confirms the issue is specific to the combination of the new “RTX Rapid Upscaler AI” and the “Smooth AI” process. It appears the new upscaler is interfering with the motion prediction.

Please investigate this incompatibility and release a fix in a future update.
