Hello, I have used the RTX RapidHDR AI and I love it, great colors and overall great picture. but I do notice in dark scenes that there are som faults, for example in dark scenes in dark under water movies, you can see color are separated around lighter objects. its like sharp differences between ech color, like bands of color degradations around a lighter object. Often seen in low bitrate videos. The name of the problem is called: color banding
The original video do have some barely visable color bandings also, but it is very much more visual after making it to HDR 10 H265 with RTX RapidHDR AI.
Now it is only possible to choose “normal quality or high”, would it possible to add at least one more step up, like super high quality? I dont know if that would help on the problem I mentioned above, but it would be nice to have the oppertunity to choose the best quality decoding option possible.
I have only tried : input:1080p H264 MKV to output:1080p high quality H265 MKV
And I have also tried 4K high quality, same problem
( as a side question: is HDR Upconverter AI a much better converter compared to: RTX RapidHDR AI? If you want the best HDR10 video possible from SDR)
