About a year ago I received an invitation to try Unifab Upscaler Ai for a limited time. I installed it on my PC but never actually tried to do any conversions with it. Now when I try to start it I’m told it has expired.
The thing is, I have yet to put a discreet GPU in my computer because I’ve been extremely busy using it for things that didn’t need anything more than the Intel UHD Graphics 770 built into my CPU. I realize that if I’m going to get into any kind of Upscaling or most other video enhancement work I will definitely need to get a discreet GPU (planning on a RTX 5070 within the month).
So before committing in any direction I would like to know how much improvement I can expect, and without being able to do any testing I can’t really get that answer. I have a ton of home shot 1080p video and would really like to get a sense of how noticeable the improvement is that I could get with Upscaler AI. Does anyone have any screenshots they could share that would be representative of that improvement?
