VOB to MP4

I broke down and purchased v3.0.2.4 yesterday and I’m having no better luck with this than I did a few weeks ago with the trial version,
Email exchanges assured me this conversion was absolutely possible. No problem.
Yeah.
The YouTube channel is equally as useless on this.
The VOB files dropped into UniFab start up just fine. The software claims to have finished the conversion. I’ve been converting these files since the early days of DVDFab so this isn’t a mystery to me and it never was a complicated procedure. Until now.
Nothing plays. Nothing works. Nothing is recognizable.
As the company, like so very many others, apparently found a way to make even more money than they were befoe with a system that is far more worthless than the original, straightforward procedure, can anyone here offer advice?
This isn’t ever going to be a career. It’s for my own personal collections. Period. I don’t need nor want to understand all the detailed technology behind it. I just was it to work. Is this even possible anymore?

marilynbennett041000522 Do you mean that the file converted by Video Converter cannot be played?
What settings are you using?
Please try setting the codec to H264 and outputting in MP4 format in the settings to see if it can be played.

Please change other software players to see if you still get the same problem, here are is a free player which gain a great popularity for your reference:

I was having a very similar issue and posted here, I ran a couple of big Win 11 updates on my laptop last night and the problem is now fixed. The updates were Win 11 24H2 and 25H2. Best wishes, hope this helps.

I’ve had the same issue converting MOV files running thru the 4K UniFab upscaler, . Worked fine a couple of months ago, now my Windows Media Player or Movies and TV player does not recognize the files although UniFab completes them. Media Player says the file is not compatible although VLC plays it just fine. Not sure where the change occurred: Windows or UniFab but it is frustrating. I’m using the H264/MP4 setting. I see a couple of critical errors in the logs, not sure if they are relevant. I’ve submitted a request for tech support, we’ll see if I can get an answer.
