The optimization for NVIDIA 50 series graphics cards is handled by a dedicated low-level tuning team, while product rollout and release are managed by a separate team. These two teams operate independently, so the development progress related to the 50 series graphics cards will not be affected. Podrían hacer lo mismo para UPSCALER neto para las RTX de NVIDIA, ya que no a mejorado nada para la serie 50 en UPSCALER sigue igual de lento y pésimo. Probé la nueva función y corre a 540 FPS un video de 3 horas solo lo hace en 10 minutos, felicidades están mejorando, pero hay un detalle el resultado no es bueno el original tiene mas color mas vivo solo oscuro, el resultado es con filtro no tan bueno.

El color es mas vivo en el original arreglar y mejorar la calidad tiene que ser superior al original.

First of all, thank you very much for your attention and use of the new features. Regarding the optimization progress for NVIDIA 50 series GPUs, we have responded previously, so I won’t repeat it here. It is worth noting that utilization optimizations for the 50 series will be prioritized on the upscaler.

Comparing RTX RapidHDR AI and the upscaler, the Quality Optimized and Texture Enhanced modes in the upscaler deliver superior performance in super-resolution upscaling. Meanwhile, RTX RapidHDR AI’s advantage lies in converting SDR video to HDR while also supporting super-resolution upscaling. However, purely in terms of super-resolution upscaling quality, the upscaler performs better.

Please note that since RTX RapidHDR AI converts SDR videos to HDR, if your display does not support HDR or HDR is not enabled, some players may show a dim or grayish image. We recommend checking your display settings or using a player like VLC, which can maintain SDR colors on devices that do not support HDR, thereby avoiding dimming issues.

Additionally, I will share with you a test comparison image showing the playback effect on an HDR TV for your reference.

Nice speed indeed compared to the other models in AI HDR, but what are the trade-off here?

Alex_Videoman Esta actualización no da buenos resultados la versión anterior lenta muy lenta pero los resultados era visible se notaba mejora respecto al original. Con esta actualización la original es superior a los resultados, espero que el equipo de UNIFAB solucione proto esto por que de verdad ya uno desanima a dejar el programa y buscar otra solución. Guardare mi ultimo demo de RTX para ver si lo arreglan.

HDR Upconverter:
Focuses on converting SDR video to HDR and Dolby Vision, aiming for outstanding HDR image quality.
Note: HDR Upconverter does not support super-resolution upscaling. For resolution enhancement, Autopilot features need to be used in conjunction.
RTX RapidHDR AI:
Integrates AI super-resolution upscaling, artifact removal, and SDR-to-HDR conversion (does not support Dolby Vision), and is deeply optimized for NVIDIA RTX GPUs. It offers high-speed processing and multi-dimensional image quality enhancement, suitable for users requiring efficient processing and multiple enhancements.

Also, there is a small UI issue when adding a 4K movie, it keeps saying 3840×2160 (origin) and still list 4K as option, would be nice to say 4K and not list it again, right?

sismotik2182737 I believe you are discussing about the speed with an RTX50 series, right? I am using a 4070Ti which is working fine, we all know the issues of UniFab with the 50 series, and hopefully they will fix these as well as the Dolby Vision bug they have one day

Thank you for your feedback. We recommend using an HDR-supported device with HDR enabled to compare the results. The comparison images you uploaded may not fully reflect the actual video playback quality. We suggest checking your HDR settings and re-experiencing the video at your convenience, which we believe will provide a different visual impression. We will continue optimizing to deliver better image quality for you.

A few more comments and follow up:

HDR Upconverter does not support Dolby Vision as we all know till you fix the bug so this is not a factor here
could you post some screenshots of the 5 different models so we can see the difference: RTX HDR, AI HDR (fast model, FHD, QHD and 4K UHD)?
-could you also compare with the “optimized” Nvidia HDR 4 levels of DVDFab? And screenshots?
if you keep the initial resolution, I guess it does not do any upscaling right? It would just di artifact removal and HDR correct?
