command line execution available ?

Hello,

I would like to use UniFab for a workflow where I process DVDs low quality sources and would like to enhance them with UniFab’s AI modules.

However, I have a lot of file to process for this reason, I need to know if UniFab supports command line execution or any kind of automation API that allows me to call it from scripts (PowerShell / C#).

From what I’ve seen so far, UniFab appears to be GUI-only. Could you confirm if:
A CLI or scripting interface exists (documented or undocumented)?
If not, is it planned for a future release?

Currently, these modules support the command line. Subsequently, other modules will be improved

It takes me some time, but I finally manage to find the output of –help and start AiDeinterlacer and AiEnhancer successfully.

No problem for adjusting the Video and Model argument.
But I didn’t manage to find the correct argument for keeping the same audio.
It should be –AiEnhancerAudio Same but it didn’t work.

I try some random value with no luck, any hint ?

AiEnhancerVideo=1xEnhance: 2x, 720p, 1080p, 1440p, 4K, 8K, 16K resolution improvement
AiEnhancerAudio=Eac351 / Dts/SameAsSource audio enhancement
AiEnhancerModel: Universal_Fast/Universal_HighQuality/Animation (Animation models are not supported at 16K) Model selection, corresponding to Fast, high quality, and animation models

–WorkType=AiEnhancer –AiEnhancerVideo=8K –AiEnhancerAudio=Dts –AiEnhancerModel=Animation –Source=G:\sample.mp4 –AutoStart=true

hubertlejaune1526587 could you explain how you got it working? Where is the executable and how did you get it to start? That would help everyone since there is no documentation here…..

Thanks for your help, “SameAsSource” works fine but 720p not, the app does get the param but it’s not recognized.
I try with space like other args and with “=” with no luck:

And 4k is selected in the gui

Sure, the exe I use is unifab64.exe, the same used to open the gui.
If you start it with “unifab64.exe –help” it will display help but not in console, in log, in the UniFab.log file, using W11 mine is in Documents\UniFab\Log
But the help displayed is not complete and do have some typos.
For example, I have found that “–WorkType AiDeinterlacer” does not work but “–WorkType AiDeinterlace” does work
Because it’s the gui executable, the gui do show up but with “–AutoStart true –AutoClose true” it open start and close on finish so that will do the trick for me.

Edit : Just find out the correct value, it’s not “720p” but “720P”
Edit2 : I just see that the AiDeinterlacer do have a resolution dropdown in the gui, can we change the value using command line ?
